service yesterday was busy busy. operation started. yes got to coordinate with the chefs and colleagues. yups. and im teh runner. i tot it would be an easy job. but no. not as simple as i thought it would be. got to call for pick up, go into the kitchen and call for pick up. serving the customers. maintain the posture. take note who is the host, who is A, B, C, D. which dish is for who. A B C or D.
yea. and i need to take note of my tables. and know which dish they will be having next. and when to call for pickup. and sometimes the dessert came before they finished teh main course. and some had to wait for very long for their main course. tt is why we have to call for pick up when they finish 3/4 of their appetiser.
yes. and communication between captain runner and wait staff is very important to ensure a seamless flow of service. sometimes before we set the dessert cutlery, dessert were alrd served.
yes. and before the bread is crumbed, desserts are alrd sent.
these are points that we have to take note during operation. =)
in addition, we need to smile. Hahah. i guess everyone is so busy and stressed. but luckily im not!! this time. im slightly not stressed. wahaha. can say la. huimin said im calm. YEAH! finally. haha its hard to remain calm when everyone around you was so stressed and busy. hahah. yesh.
im so happy when mr neo complimented me. he said im clever. omg. i tot i hear wrongly at 1st. CLEVER? huh. i tot he was kidding. he said that because i called for pickup earlier so that teh customers did not wait for the main course for too long.
yups. rather surprised. haha. because im always clever wahahaha. jkjk..
yeas. so afetr service we had a debrief. and we went Koufu to eat our dinner. FINALLy we ate a proper meal. at 4pm. and ard 5.30pm we went back to sch. haha. how suey could we get? it was raining. and so 6pm we took our accounting test. yes. great time. to slp.
cant really concentrate well. i think i will do badly for it.
yups. and took bus home with huimin. omg suddenly sentosa was so crowded and we had to wait for 3 buses. yea. and took bus 30. omg so tired. and dizzy. i think i cant take long bus ride.
yups and really wanan vomit after taht. reached home at ard 10pm. really no appetite. and was forced to drink the herbal chk soup cooked by my mum. yeas. hais. haah
den read through MICE notes. omg. so much and tml morning at 11am is the interview. and i had tut at 9am. which is TODAY. yeas.
super tired. and i cant even skip one of them.
ate bao since 10am. till now.
args. gotta go home soon.
